What’s the head to head?

Nadal leads the head to head 23-15, and 8-3 at grand slams. Oh and he’s also 5-0 at Roland Garros against Federer.

Rafael Nadal is aiming to extend his phenomenal record at the French Open by winning his 12th title at Roland Garros.

But in his way stands a friendly foe in Roger Federer, the Swiss legend who is making his first appearance in Paris since 2015, having skipped the previous four tournaments due to injury.

Two of tennis’ titans will go head-to-head at the French Open for the first time since 2011 in their 39th Grand Slam meeting.

With Nadal winning 91 of his 93 matches here, the Spaniard will go into the match as the favourite but the world number two will be wary of Federer, who at the ripe age of 37 continues to defy any questions over his longevity.
